Forest Nursery
Our nursery produces cold hardy perennial plant varieties that have been specifically bred and adapted for the climatic extremes of our bioregion (USDA Zone 4, Western Maine). We specialize in fruit & nut trees, berry bushes, shrubs, and woody ornamentals that work well in forest gardens, woody polycultures, restoration agroforestry, wildlife plantings, and more. We treat our plants with right balance of pampering care and total neglect to develop the tough and resilient plants that will succeed in your garden.
Our plants are grown without synthetic chemical fertilizers or pesticides/fungicides/biocides of any sort. Our fertility is built upon loads of compost and thriving soil biology.
